The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME) and the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), observed Westbrook's softball team get by Thornton Academy by a tally of 13-7.

The Blue Blazes (14-3) will now prepare for their bout against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles go into the Class A South bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Windham tipped Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME), 13-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a Class A South bout, on Tuesday, June 2. Thornton Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
