Massachusetts High School Softball - Austin Prep gets by Dracut
May 23, 2022: Reading, MA 01867 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) and the visiting Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), witnessed Austin Prep's softball squad tip Dracut by a count of 22-21.
The Cougars now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Danvers for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 25. Austin Prep will face a Falcons squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Dracut moves to 6-12 on the season. The Middies travel to Tyngsborough (Tyngsborough, MA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 25. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 11-5. Tyngsborough won 4-0 in their recent non-league battle against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA)
