Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Natick Redhawks (Natick, MA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wamps now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Newton South for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 24. Braintree will face a Lions squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MA). The Lions record now stands at 9-8.
