New York High School Softball - Chateaugay nudges Hermon-DeKalb Central
May 23, 2022: Chateaugay, NY 12920 Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hermon-DeKalb Central Demons (DeKalb Junction, NY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hammond Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 25. Chateaugay will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Colton-Pierrepont (Colton, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Hermon-DeKalb Central falls to 2-8 on the campaign.
