The Benzie Central Huskies baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Onekama Portagers to 2 in the Huskies non-league win on Friday.

The Huskies now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Traverse City West for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 27. Benzie Central will clash with a Titans team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI). The Titans record now stands at 15-7.

With the defeat, Onekama drops to 2-7 on the year. The Portagers travel to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a West Michigan D test on Tuesday, May 27. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 6-19.
