The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ames for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. Valley will clash with a Little Cyclones team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Little Cyclones record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Linn-Mar drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Mt. Vernon won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA)
