Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA), 2-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Salesian College Preparatory improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Pride travel to Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 27. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 17-3. Berean Christian won 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA)

With the loss, San Rafael moves to 12-13 on the season.
