May 24, 2022: Kittanning, PA 16201 The Armstrong River Hawks softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting North Hills Indians to 4 in the River Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Armstrong improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The River Hawks travel to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, June 2. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 18-2.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 31. North Hills will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Colts come into the game with a 15-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA).
