Montana High School Softball - Fergus holds off Ronan
May 24, 2024: Ronan, MT 59864 Fergus Golden Eagles (Lewistown, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ronan Chiefs (Ronan, MT), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frenchtown for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 25. Fergus will face a Broncs squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Laurel (Laurel, MT). The Broncs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Ronan falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Columbia Falls (Columbia Falls, MT) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 24. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 18-3. Columbia Falls won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Polson (Polson, MT)
