Illinois High School Baseball - Warren Township sneaks past Highland Park
May 24, 2025: Gurnee, IL 60031 Spectators at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) and the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), witnessed Warren Township's baseball team hold off Highland Park by a count of 4-3.
The Blue Devils now own a 19-14 record. They take the field next when they host Lakes for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. Warren Township will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 21-12.
With the defeat, Highland Park drops to 23-10 on the year. The Giants host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 29. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 22-13. Rolling Meadows won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
