South Dakota High School Softball - Castlewood succumbs to Dakota Valley
May 24, 2025: Castlewood, SD 57223 In Saturday's non-league test, the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) softball squad overwhelmed the host Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD), by a tally of 9-1.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 24. Dakota Valley will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 14-10 record after their 5-4 league loss to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD).
The Warriors (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Pheasants go into the Class B test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Redfield prevailed over Milbank (Milbank, SD), 19-15, in a non-league test.
