The Mount Desert Island Trojans crushed the visiting Hermon Hawks baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Presque Isle for a Class B North bout on Saturday, May 28. Mount Desert Island will face a Wildcats team coming off a 15-5 league loss to Caribou (Caribou, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.

Next, the Hawks face the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a Class B North bout, on Friday, May 27. Hermon will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 12-2 record after their 13-0 non-league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME).
