West Virginia High School Softball - Winfield bounces Shady Spring
May 25, 2022: Winfield, WV 25213 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) and the visiting Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), saw Winfield's softball squad nip Shady Spring by a count of 5-0.
The Generals now sport a 23-5 record.
With the loss, Shady Spring falls to 21-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hoover (Clendenin, WV) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 25. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 20-3. Hoover won 9-0 in their recent non-league match against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
