Wisconsin High School Softball - Somerset gets by Northwestern
May 25, 2023: Somerset, WI 54025 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Somerset Spartans (Somerset, WI) and the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI), witnessed Somerset's softball squad tip Northwestern by a count of 2-1.
The Spartans now sport a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Croix Falls for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 30. Somerset will face a Saints squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bloomer (Bloomer, WI). The Saints record now stands at 14-11.
With the loss, Northwestern moves to 10-3 on the season.
