Iowa High School Softball - Lisbon bounces Louisa-Muscatine
May 25, 2024: Letts, IA 52754 Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Louisa-Muscatine Falcons (Letts, IA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Linn for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 28. Lisbon will face a Lynx squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Kee (Lansing, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Louisa-Muscatine falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Highland (Riverside, IA) to face the Huskies in a SE IA Super - North challenge on Tuesday, May 28. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Highland won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Pekin (Packwood, IA)
