Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA) backers left the game pleased Sunday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Monson Mustangs (Monson, MA), 6-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Turners Falls upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Thunder host Hoosac Valley (Cheshire, MA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 28. The Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 16-2.

The Mustangs now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Drury for a non-league game on Monday, June 2. Monson will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 19-9 non-league loss to Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-10.
