Iowa High School Softball - Pella bounces Prairie City-Monroe
May 26, 2022: Monroe, IA 50170 Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Dutch now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand View Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27.
With the loss, Prairie City-Monroe falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Perry (Perry, IA) to face the Bluejays in a challenge on Friday, June 3. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Perry lost 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
