May 27, 2025: Detroit, MI 48206 The Edison Academy Pioneers baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Central Trail Blazers to 0 in the Pioneers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now hold a 25-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Novi for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 28. Edison Academy will play a Wildcats team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Allen Park (Allen Park, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-13.
With the defeat, Central drops to 18-20 on the year. The Trail blazers travel to Saline (Saline, MI) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 28. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 20-8. Saline lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Churchill (Livonia, MI)
