The Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish (Kalamazoo, MI) baseball trounced the host Galesburg-Augusta Rams (Galesburg, MI), 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Fighting Irish now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 31. Hackett Catholic Prep will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Niles (Niles, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 18-8.

With the defeat, Galesburg-Augusta drops to 16-8 on the year.
