Iowa High School Baseball - Western Dubuque holds off Pleasant Valley
May 27, 2025: Epworth, IA 52045 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA) and the visiting Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA), saw Western Dubuque's baseball team gain a win over Pleasant Valley by a tally of 10-6.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Xavier held off Marion (Marion, IA), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans face the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 29. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA).
