Michigan High School Softball - Morenci bounces Athens
May 27, 2025: Athens, MI 49011 The Morenci Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Athens Indians to 7 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittsford for a non-league battle on Friday, May 30.
With the loss, Athens moves to 1-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Kellogg (Delton, MI) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 29. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 6-10. Kellogg lost 24-11 in their recent non-league battle against Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI)
