Vermont High School Softball - Bellows Free Academy nudges Craftsbury Academy
May 28, 2022: Fairfax, VT 05454 Bellows Free Academy Bullets (Fairfax, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Craftsbury Academy Chargers (Craftsbury Common, VT), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Bullets now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to White River Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 1. Bellows Free Academy will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-9 league win over Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
With the loss, Craftsbury Academy falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Twinfield (Plainfield, VT) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-13. Twinfield lost 21-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, VT)
