Iowa High School Baseball - Central Lee edges Fairfield
May 28, 2025: Fairfield, IA 52556 In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Central Lee Hawks baseball team scored a close 12-9 victory over the Fairfield Trojans.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA). The Nikes enter the SE IA Super - South game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Notre Dame held off Danville (Danville, IA), 6-1, in a league game.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 31. Fairfield will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 8-1 league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA).
