The Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) softball routed the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Gaels now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a non-league outing on Monday, June 2.

With the loss, Bunnell moves to 11-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT) to encounter the Lancers in a Southwest - Colonial outing on Friday, May 30. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 10-11.
