May 28, 2025: Waterloo, IA 50702 In Wednesday's non-league test, the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), by a tally of 7-0.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West test, on Thursday, May 29. East Marshall will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
The Sailors (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines go into the North Iowa Cedar - Central test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Dike-New Hartford was routed by Oelwein (Oelwein, IA), 4-2, in a non-league test.
