May 28, 2025: Toledo, OR 97391 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) and the host Toledo Boomers (Toledo, OR), observed Grant Union's softball team get by Toledo by a final score of 8-4.
The Prospectors (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Heppner/Ione (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Heppner/Ione tipped Elgin/Imbler (Elgin, OR), 21-5, in a non-league bout.
