Iowa High School Softball - Grand View Christian loses to Chariton
May 29, 2024: Des Moines, IA 50317 The Chariton Chargers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Grand View Christian Thunder to 2 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Chariton improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Chargers host Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to clash with the Comets in a South Central game on Thursday, May 30. The Comets come into the game with a record of 4-1. Cardinal won 6-0 in their recent non-league game against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA)
In their next game, the Thunder clash with the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 30. Grand View Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 7-0 league win over Perry (Perry, IA).
