The Tornadoes now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Webster for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 31. Southern will clash with a Jeeps team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Jeeps record now stands at 19-8.
With the defeat, Clay drops to 13-10 on the year.
