May 29, 2025: Pocahontas, IA 50574 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) and the visiting Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), saw Pocahontas's baseball team gain a win over Eagle Grove by a tally of 7-1.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans enter the Twin Lakes battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, South Central Calhoun was overwhelmed by Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 7-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the Belmond-Klemme Broncos (Belmond, IA) in a Top of Iowa - West battle, on Friday, May 30. Eagle Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 20-9 league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA).
