Virginia High School Softball - J.I. Burton bounces Hurley
May 29, 2025: Hurley, VA 24620 The J.I. Burton Black Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Hurley Rebels to 0 in the Black Raiders non-league win on Thursday.
The Black Raiders now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Springs for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 3. J.I. Burton will confront a Titans team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Titans record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, Hurley moves to 2-10 on the season.
