Kansas High School Softball - Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] sneaks past Minneapolis
May 29, 2025: Minneapolis, KS 67467 The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Minneapolis Lions to 5 in the Cyclones non-league win on Thursday.
The Cyclones now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontenac for a non-league battle on Friday, May 30. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will confront a Raiders team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Colby (Colby, KS). The Raiders record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Minneapolis moves to 7-3 on the season.
