May 3, 2022: Mercersburg, PA 17236 Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD), 12-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mercersburg Academy upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Blue Storm travel to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, May 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 26-3. Jefferson won 1-0 in their recent league test against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV)
With the defeat, St. James falls to 4-11 on the season. The Saints travel to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to battle the Quakers in a Mid-Atlantic-MAC test on Saturday, May 7. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 8-10. Sidwell Friends lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Maret (Washington, DC)
