Michigan High School Softball - Big Rapids bounces Central Montcalm
May 3, 2022: Big Rapids, MI 49307 Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI), 5-1 in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reed City for a Central State Activities Association-Gold challenge on Tuesday, May 10.
With the loss, Central Montcalm falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Ithaca (Ithaca, MI) to battle the Yellowjackets in a Tri-Valley - West I challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 3-1.
