New York High School Baseball - Batavia nudged by Aquinas Institute
May 3, 2023: Rochester, NY 14613 The Aquinas Institute Little Irish nudged the visiting Batavia Blue Devils baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Little Irish now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Kearney for a non-league game on Friday, May 5. Aquinas Institute will clash with a Kings team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over School of the Arts (Rochester, NY). The Kings record now stands at 5-3.
The Blue Devils (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Greece Athena (Rochester, NY). The Trojans go into the Section 5 Monroe County IV game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Greece Athena tipped Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY), 11-8, in a non-league game.
