Illinois High School Baseball - Beardstown loses to Lincoln
May 3, 2023: Beardstown, IL 62618 The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Beardstown Tigers to 3 in the Railsplitters non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Railsplitters (13-10) will now prepare for their match against MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 2-18 record. In their last match, MacArthur was overwhelmed by Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL), 20-0, in a league match.
The Tigers (10-10) will now prepare for their match against Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 19-7 record. In their last match, Brown County edged Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL), 16-5, in a non-league match.
