May 3, 2023: West Orange, NJ 07052 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) and the host West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), saw Columbia's baseball squad knock off West Orange by a count of 3-1.
Coming up next, the Cougars play the Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Sunday, May 7. Columbia will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
The Mountaineers now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomfield for a Super Essex - Liberty battle on Monday, May 8. West Orange will play a Bengals squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 12-6.
