May 3, 2023: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 4. Warwick will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
The Lions now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tabb for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Warhill will confront a Tigers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
