May 3, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28144 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), saw Salisbury's soccer squad triumph over Concord by a count of 6-0.
The Hornets now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Randleman for a non-league test on Thursday, May 4. Salisbury will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Concord drops to 1-16 on the season. The Spiders host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to meet the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A test on Friday, May 5. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 12-2. Central Cabarrus lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)
