Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), 6-2 in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. Lyons will play a Wildkits team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 8-5.

The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record.
