May 3, 2023: Columbia, SC 29204 The Dixie Hornets softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host C.A. Johnson Hornets to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Dixie moves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, May 5. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 13-7. Ridge Spring-Monetta won 23-8 in their recent non-league game against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC)
