Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Barberton upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Magics travel to Aurora (Aurora, OH) to battle the Greenmen in a Suburban - American test on Tuesday, May 7. The Greenmen come into the test with a record of 10-11. Aurora lost 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Field (Mogadore, OH)

With the defeat, St. Vincent-St. Mary falls to 16-6 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, May 6. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 8-4. Walsh Jesuit lost 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
