May 3, 2024: Cardington, OH 43315 Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH), 9-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cardington-Lincoln upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Pirates host Delaware Christian (Delaware, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-4. Delaware Christian won 18-0 in their recent league battle against Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH)
The Panthers now possess a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host West Liberty-Salem for a Ohio Heritage North battle on Monday, May 6. Fairbanks will play a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 15-3.
