Wisconsin High School Baseball - Clinton gets by Monroe
May 3, 2024: Clinton, WI 53525 Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI), 8-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Cougars host Turner (Beloit, WI) to battle the Trojans in a Rock Valley-Valley test on Monday, May 6. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 10-4. Turner won 13-0 in their recent league battle against Whitewater (Whitewater, WI)
The Cheesemakers now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Delavan-Darien for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 7. Monroe will play a Comets squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Comets record now stands at 11-3.
