May 3, 2024: Akron, OH 44312 The Southeast Pirates baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Springfield Spartans to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Rootstown (Rootstown, OH). The Rovers go into the Portage Trail match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, Rootstown tipped Waterloo (Atwater, OH), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Spartans (0-16) will now prepare for their match against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets go into the non-league match with a 7-14 record. In their last match, Coventry was overwhelmed by Firestone (Akron, OH), 10-4, in a non-league match.
