In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Saxony Lutheran Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the St. Pius X Lancers.

The Crusaders (12-8) will now prepare for their battle against Oakville (St. Louis, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 1 battle with a 7-16 record. In their last battle, Oakville achieved victory over Seckman (Imperial, MO), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Lancers clash with the Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 6. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 6-17 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lafayette (Wildwood, MO).
