New York High School Lacrosse - Canton bounces Franklin Academy
May 3, 2024: Canton, NY 13617 The Canton Golden Bears triumphed over the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies lacrosse team by a score of 20-0 in Friday's league match.
With the win, Canton upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Golden Bears host Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY) to play the Shamrocks in a Section 10 Freelance match on Wednesday, May 8. The Shamrocks go into the match with a record of 6-5.
With the defeat, Franklin Academy drops to 0-9 on the season. The Huskies travel to Thousand Islands/Lyme Central (Clayton, NY) to play the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 3-7. Thousand Islands/Lyme Central won 18-7 in their recent non-league match against Proctor (Utica, NY)
