The Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) lacrosse tipped the visiting Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY), 7-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Valley Central upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to battle the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, May 6. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 8-4. Minisink Valley won 17-1 in their recent league outing against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY)
