New Jersey High School Softball - Lacey Township bounces St. Rose
May 3, 2024: Belmar, NJ 07719 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) and the host St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), saw Lacey Township's softball squad achieve victory over St. Rose by a count of 14-3.
The Lions now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a Shore - B South match on Monday, May 6. Lacey Township will face a Lions squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, St. Rose falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Purple roses travel to Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-12. Rumson-Fair Haven won 6-4 in their recent league match against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ)
