New Jersey High School Softball - Salem bounces LEAP Academy
May 3, 2024: Salem, NJ 08079 Salem Rams (Salem, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting LEAP Academy Lancers (Camden, NJ), 23-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Wildwood for a Tri-County - Classic challenge on Monday, May 6. Salem will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, LEAP Academy falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ) to battle the Zebra in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Zebra enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. New Brunswick lost 19-11 in their recent league challenge against Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ)
