Stevenson Ambassadors (Bronx, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Bronx Phoenix (Bronx, NY), 14-13 in a league challenge.

The Ambassadors now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Evander Childs for a PSAL Bronx A challenge on Monday, May 6. Stevenson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 23-16 non-league loss to Bronx United (Bronx, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, South Bronx falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix host KIPP NYC College Prep (New York, NY) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
